After visiting the Milyering Visitor Centre within Cape Range National Park near Exmouth, West Australia, we headed to Turquoise Bay. It was a very windy day on the west coast and it was suggested to go snorkelling at Turquoise Bay as this is protected from the wind.
A snorkel drift is popular at Turquoise Bay where you enter the water at the southern end of the beach and let the current take you over the reef for a great 'snorkelling' experience. This is recommended for experienced swimmers as the currents can be strong.
This beautiful spot is within Ningaloo Marine Park (a sanctuary zone) - look but don't take.
